Susty Party joins YouthTrade for Whole Foods Market Initiative

We here at Susty Party are very excited to announce our recent partnership with YouthTrade, a new opportunity for entrepreneurs under 35 years old (like us!) to sell mission-driven products.

In May, YouthTrade™ announced all 28 Whole Foods Market® stores in the North Atlantic region will carry a selection of products from nearly 20 young YouthTrade-certified business owners, including our compostable, made-in the-USA plates, bowls and straws. YouthTrade founding companies include: The Biochar Company, Perfect Fuel Chocolate, Bixby & Co., Biena Foods, Raaka Chocolate, Runa Tea, and Susty Party (woohoo!).

YouthTrade is a project of Youth Entrepreneurship and Sustainability (YES), inspired by the Conscious Capitalism Institute (CCI), and designed to promote entrepreneurship among young business owners by creating new markets for their products. All YouthTrade products promote social, economic, and/or environmental sustainability.

“Whole Foods Market is proud to be the first retailer to carry YouthTrade products. We are committed to supporting small businesses and giving our customers the opportunity to do the same,” said Kimberley Rose, Whole Foods Market North Atlantic Regional Vice President.

“We are so impressed by the talent and vision that these young entrepreneurs have shown and we are excited to offer them the opportunity to bring their products to the marketplace.” Rose, along with Whole Foods Co-Founder and CEO John Mackey, also praised Susty Party’s compostable plates and straws which were highlighted during the YouthTrade launch.
