Sacred Spaces: Hosted by Judson Memorial Church
Time Out New York has this to say about the event:
Art and nourishment are meant to satisfy the soul at this meal and visual presentation. The night begins with a potluck, to which audience members can contribute—dishes can incorporate flavorings that are associated with different deities (for example, when Aphrodite was born from the sea, she was draped in rosemary). After the enlightening meal, sit back for a slide show of more than 17 artists’ works that explore meaningful spaces—both religious and secular.
